Mugila attends the Hindu Middle School in Mavadi, and is in the fourth standard. The teachers urged the Grail Trust to help Mugila during Chairman Neil and trustee Lynda’s visit to the school last year.

New Grail Trust children: no 5 – S Karthika
It’s not been the best of years for S Karthika. Her father died in July and of course, due to the pandemic, there has been no school either.
New Grail Trust Children 2020: no 4 – A Nishanthi
Welcome to A Nishanthi, who is studying in VI Standard at the Hindu Middle School in Mavadi. Neil Fairlamb and Lynda Chugg visited this school in January. They were most impressed with how caring the staff were of its pupils.
Meet the new Grail Trust children: No 3 – J Ajay Ponraj
Ajay Ponraj is studying at VI Standard in TDTA (Tirunelveli Diocese Trust Association) Middle School, Kannanallor. When Ajay was six, his father committed suicide.
Meet the New Grail Trust Children: No 2 – C Akshaya Varshini
C Akshaya Varshini is eight years old. Her father died of a heart attack at the end of last year, leaving her mother, Jeya, with three small daughters to bring up. The Grail Trust allowance of Rs 800 (about £8.50) for Akshaya is a huge help to this family.

The Grail Trust supports an extra 12 children
From this week the Grail Trust will be supporting an extra 12 children, 4 boys and 8 girls. The Grail Trust monthly allowance is quite literally, a lifeline.
Great news for two Grail Trust girls !
Both the Grail Trust children who had appeared in Higher Secondary School final examinations (the equivalent of our ‘A’ Levels) in the academic year 2019-2020 have passed – and passed with flying colours!
