Ways to donate

As a charity we have been raising about £15,000 a year in UK thanks to your kind help. We have minimal expenses in UK and most of our funding goes directly via our Indian partners to support children’s maintenance and education. Basic food and clothing support for a child is up to 800 rupees a month. At present the exchange rate is 92 rupees to 1 British pound. This is a pitifully small sum but it will mean the difference between destitution and basic needs met. We pay for their education- school uniform, bus travel, books and equipment-and for the older children we pay the fees for training institutes, further education colleges, polytechnics and universities. Without some higher qualification post-16 their opportunities are very limited, and we want to enable them to do better. This is what we have been doing for 23 years and strive to do the same for the future.
